A FIRST TV EXCLUSIVE SERIES
America's Worst Presidents
There is one thing all bad presidents in American history have in common. They all had a hand in expanding the role of government - some more egregiously and outside the bounds of the U.S. Constitution than others.
In this new First TV short series, Mike Slater hand-picks six of his favorite WORST Chief Executives over time. Each has left a legacy of bloated bureaucracy and institutionalized corruption. You might actually be surprised by some of his bad hombres, because you were taught only the warm and fuzzy stuff in those government schools!
P.S. Joe Biden isn't history...yet.
EPISODE 1: Woodrow Wilson
Out of the 45 different individuals to hold the United States presidency, Woodrow Wilson is the absolute worst. Mike Slater feels very strongly about this, as does Jeffrey A. Tucker of the Brownstone Institute. They explain why in great detail.
EPISODE 3: Lyndon Johnson
There have been some pretty awful presidents in recent memory, but one of the worst was Lyndon B. Johnson. Mike Slater goes into detail as to what made LBJ so bad and draws comparisons to the current president, Joe Biden. Plus, expert analysis and background from Dr. Patrick Newman.

EPISODE 2: Franklin Roosevelt
America has had its fair share of presidents, some good, some decent and some just terrible. While some may say FDR is one of the best, Mike Slater argues that he's one of the worst of all time. Mike welcomes historian David Pietrusza who helps lay out the case against FDR.
EPISODE 4: Teddy Roosevelt
Teddy Roosevelt is one of the more beloved United States presidents thanks to his loud personality. However, when it came to policy, President Roosevelt was one of the worst in American history. Mike Slater explains why alongside Dr. Paul Moreno of Hillsdale College.
EPISODE 5: Warren Harding
There have been 45 individuals who served as president of the United States. Some good, some average, some bad. But who are the worst? Mike Slater can tell you that Warren G. Harding is up there. Mike gives you the full breakdown of President Harding's failures alongside historian Robert Strauss.
EPISODE 6: James Buchanan
President James Buchanan was the 15th president of the United States and died in 1868, so it's fair to forget how bad of a leader he was. Mike Slater dives into this horrendous regime and reminds you why Buchanan is close to the top of his worst presidents list. Plus, detail you won't hear anywhere else from historian Alvin Felzenberg.
